Technical Lead – Mechanical Design & Engineering

Experience Required: 7+ years

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and guide the offshore and onshore teams as a Technical Lead, ensuring project goals and quality standards are met.
• Utilize strong expertise in SOLIDWORKS and CATIA for mechanical design and product development.
• Collaborate closely with customers, design engineers, mechanical engineers, manufacturing engineers, and stress engineers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Drive technology development and new product introduction (NPI) initiatives.
• Manage in-service reliability tracking, investigations, and non-conforming material reviews.
• Oversee production modifications and obsolescence management.
• Develop and implement methods/processes for task flow, control, and execution.
• Design and lead the development of various modules and release processes.
• Conduct data segregation and triaging to support project execution.
• Communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders using strong verbal and written skills.
• Demonstrate self-motivation, proactivity, and flexibility to respond to daily changes and pressures.
• Maintain strong attention to detail while managing multiple priorities.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Exhibit strong organizational skills to meet tight deadlines and demanding customer expectations.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience with SOLIDWORKS (mandatory) and CATIA (preferred).
• Proven experience working as a Technical Lead in mechanical design or manufacturing environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising across technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a strong sense of ownership.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in SOLIDWORKS.
• Experienced in Data segregation and Triaging.
• Experienced in SolidWorks / Catia software.
