Job Purpose:

The Sr. Fullstack .net developer will be responsible for developing and enhancing technology solutions for the Mortgage Servicing platform, leveraging cloud solutions and Microsoft technologies. The role includes writing high-quality code to create complex business applications, performing software testing, and providing post-implementation support.

Requirements

  • Use .NET, C#, TSQL, SSIS, and other relevant technologies to develop and maintain software applications.
  • Implement cloud-based solutions, with a focus on integrating AWS services, including EC2, SQS, SNS, Lambda, and API Gateway.
  • Apply Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum) to deliver solutions iteratively and improve software performance.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance:
    • Write unit tests and perform quality assurance (QA) to ensure the functionality and reliability of developed applications.
    • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), collaborating with stakeholders to ensure software meets business needs.
  • Deployment & Support:
    • Prepare software for deployment to production environments and resolve any issues logged by users in the live system.
    • Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary improvements.
  • Collaboration & Project Management:
    • Work independently on small projects and as a team member on larger, more complex initiatives.
    • Participate in Agile sprints, including planning, standups, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery and continuous improvement.
    • Contribute to documentation and technical specifications for ongoing and future projects.
  • Innovation & Culture:
    • Demonstrate behaviors that align with the organization’s culture and values.
    • Continuously enhance skills and stay updated with the latest tools, technologies, and trends in software development.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 7+ years of relevant work experience in software development.
    • Proficiency in Agile methodologies such as Extreme Programming (XP) and Scrum.
    • Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
    • Strong knowledge of design patterns, refactoring, and unit testing.
    • AWS Environment experience (e.g., EC2, SQS, SNS, Lambda, API Gateway) is highly preferred.
    • Financial services experience, particularly related to mortgages and mortgage-backed securities, is a plus.
    • Linux and open-source software experience is a plus.
