KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support data engineers in building and maintaining data pipelines for ETL processes.
• Assist with data cleaning, transformation, and validation tasks.
• Learn and use tools such as Hadoop, Spark, and Hive to process and analyze data.
• Help monitor scheduled data workflows and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business data needs.
• Contribute to internal documentation and team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree (or in final year) in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Familiarity with SQL and basic Python programming.
• Knowledge of data structures, basic algorithms, and database concepts.
• Willingness to learn big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Hive.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and team spirit.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Internship experience in a data-related role.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) or workflow tools (e.g., Airflow).
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix command-line environments.

Salary Range: $100,000 - 110,000
